More than a thousand boats meet every 2 years during Ascension week to offer you an extraordinary spectacle in one of the most beautiful bays in the world .
Every odd-numbered year, treat yourself to a stopover in the Gulf of Morbihan to admire the jewels of maritime heritage from all over Europe. In this magnificent setting dotted with islets, come and observe the ballet of majestic rigging but also of “walnut shells” which mingle with the parade. Depending on the tides and currents, the flotillas sail and call in more than fifteen festive ports. In each edition, the Gulf Week also puts a country in the spotlight and invites its fleet to join the event. At the quay, there are exhibitions, workshops for children, oyster tastings and music to prolong the party until the end of the night.
Morbihan Paddle Trophy Ouest France June 5 and 6, 2021
The Morbihan Paddle Trophy Ouest-France has become one of the largest StandUp Paddle gatherings in the Gulf of Morbihan and the one that attracts the most spectators. They will be at Bono, towards Berder, Toulindac with a 5km test from Bono to Auray. Over 450 people - sportsmen and amateurs alike - are expected for the occasion. And the meeting attracts more and more every year : " Paddleboarding is a bit of a sea bike. Anyone can do it. "

The Fêtes d'Arvor, organized by the Festival Committee, make the streets of Vannes vibrate on the weekend of August 15. The Fêtes d'Arvor, two days of free entertainment throughout the city, parades, triumph of the bell-ringers, crowning of the Queen of Arvor on the steps of the Town Hall, fireworks ... Free.
Historical festivals of Vannes 13 and 14 July 2021

The Ultra Marin Raid Golfe du Morbihan (awaiting a date in 2021)
This event athletic groups together several pedestrian races borrowing the hiking trails traced by the Morbihan Departmental Council around Gulf of Morbihan up to 177km. It is an atypical circuit in the heart of Gulf of Morbihan and of Brittany. The competitors thus set off each year on the coastal paths, going from one cove to another and passing on small beaches or in the middle of the rocks, while reveling in the magnificent landscapes offered by the Gulf of Morbihan.
